Sayaro is a one-bedroom Safari tent that can sleep four people. It offers good comfort with private facilities just 3 roof-covered steps away from the tent. A private balcony overlooking the forest and an outdoor dining area with a fire pit are part of this private environment. The tent is fitted with quality beds, allergy-free, and fair-trade alpaca duvets, and pillows. WIFI is at a high speed and in case the evening is chilly, a stove will heat the tent.

Sayaro is situated on the lands of an eco-farm, so food production is based on good farming techniques. Your meals are elaborated locally and with available fresh and seasonal products. Homemade yogurt and cheese, happy eggs, seeds, and organic vegetables are just some products to prepare varied meals in an environmentally responsible manner.

the goods
- Sayaro is located in the cloud forest nearby the Mojanda Cambugan conservation area (27.000 hectares)
- Deforestation has taken place between 1980 – 2015. Since 2018 a (natural) regeneration of the forest has been initiated with sustainable methods.
- The Glamping supports 12 local families by offering local labor.
- Sayaro is decorated with local handicrafts such as 100% fair trade alpaca wool, which are elaborated by more than 100 indigenous women from the highlands.
- Local tea will be offered which is cultivated by a female group living nearby
- Your excursions will be led by local guides.

Sayaro Glamping is located near the small town of Atahualpa, about a 2,5-3h drive from Quito and only accessible by 4WD vehicles. All our programs include transport to and from Quito.
Please bring comfortable walking cloths and raingear. Upon booking we will facilitate our packing list.
The climate is mild with sunny to cloudy mornings and heavy rains in the afternoon. It can get cold at night.
The Glamping tent has electricity by solar panels. You can comfortably charge your electronic devices such as cellphones and cameras.
Sometimes it can get cold at night, so our Glamping tent is featured with a wooden stove which can be lit on request by our staff.
At Sayrao there is no mobile reception, however, you will have access to WIFI. Please note that the WIFI is limited and not suitable for streaming.
The tent can be fitted with one, two or three single beds which can be converted into a matrimonial bed. Additionally, a sofa bed for children can be added if necessary.
At Sayaro all your personal expenses can be paid with cash only.
There is no malaria in our Glamping area.
Our Glamping tent is located in nature, so it can be very likely to find insects inside your tent. However, the tent is closed and will be cleaned once a day.
At the moment no laundry service is offered at Sayaro.
